Chaque année le Classement Best lawyers distngue toujours plus d'avocats si bien que cette distinction attribuée en 2023 à 3776 avocats n'a plus grand intérêt. Trop de classés tue le classement. En revanche, la distinction "Lawyer of the year" n'est attribué qu'à 85 cabinets, leaders dans leur catégorie. Pour 2023, Christophe Bigot a été sélectionné à ce titre pour recevoir cette distinction dans deux catégories : le droit de la diffamation, et le droit de la publicité.
